17Ramanujan FellowshipDST1. This fellowship is open to brilliant Indian scientists and engineers working abroad and are below the age of 40 years.

2. Nominee should possess a higher degree or equivalent, such as Ph.D. in Science/ Engineering, Masters in Engineering or Technology/ MD in Medicine, etc. and have adequate professional experience.

18National Post Doctoral FellowshipDST1. The applicant must have obtained Ph.D./M.D./M.S. degree from a recognized University. Those who have submitted their PhD/M.D/M.S thesis and are awaiting award of the degree are also eligible to apply.

2. The upper age limit for the fellowship is 35 years at the time of the submission of application.

19SERB Overseas Postdoctoral FellowshipDST1. This fellowship aims to build national capacity in frontier areas of Science and Engineering, which are of interest to India by providing postdoctoral fellowship for a period of one year.

2. The applicant should have completed PhD degree in science and engineering not earlier than the preceding two years from recognized institutions in India.

3. The applicant should himself/herself correspond with the proposed host institution abroad for their postdoctoral work.
